The Google TV Android 3.1 Honeycomb upgrade enables Android Market and Android Debug Bridge (adb) which means you can develop Android apps for Google TV ™ and publish your apps to a new emerging market.
All you need is the Android SDK 3.1, API12, revision 2 or later and optionally the Google TV SDK
add-on which contains support for Google TV emulation. So even if you don’t have a Google
TV device you can still develop apps for the platform!
The Google TV SDK add-on also provides documentation for TV specific
features like the Channel Listing content provider as well as layout
templates for use with the Android Development Toolkit (ADT)
under Eclipse.
